YUYUU SHOPS
YUYUU is a small art business run by myself and Yvonne Yu. While initially formed as a creative outlet for two burnt out artists, YUYUU has gone on to participate in art markets, conventions, and collaborations with other artists and brands. We design all of our merchandise, promotional material, displays, and digital assets using our backgrounds in digital fabrication and illustration.I have had my hands in all areas of the design and production pipeline as well as inventory management, vendor and customer outreach, and marketing. Currently, my main responsibilities entail merchandise/signage production, online store operations, and social media content creation.

CRITTERWEEN
CRITTERWEEN is an annual Halloween collaboration between YUYUU and xiiyta highlighting both stores' mascots and their Frankenstein-esque adventures. Each artist contributed prints and stickers and participated in the multi-week marketing and promotional period with countdown teasers, Instagram stories, and collaborative posts.Besides my part of the merchandise packs, I was also responsible for the creation of the project logo, promotional splash graphic, and packaging design.
CRITTERWEEN's promotional period started on October 20th and ran until November 3rd, selling 70% of merchandise produced online. The remaining stock was available to purchase at in person events over the next few months until sold out.Since its first run in 2024, CRITTERWEEN has continued to grow. For 2026, we plan on running online orders for all of October, offering more unique merchandise packs that explore our theming more thoroughly.

CATALOGUE ZINE / Sprinkle Trinkle 5.0
Sprinkle Trinkle is a bi-annual art market in the DFW area. As a part of the 5.0 event, I participated in a Riso printed stamp rally with five other artists where each person contributed one catalogue/advertising themed illustration.
For my piece, I referenced vintage toy ads for their catalogue layout. The characters depicted are toys as well, but their aesthetics are closer to loose sci-fi and Y2K theming than 90's vintage. The left image below is my original file, but the zine's final size is around 4x5 inches, so areas with high detail were simplified due to the nature of Risograph printers.
Lunar New Year Postcard
To celebrate the New Year while honoring our respective cultures, this card was sketched and rendered collaboratively by myself and Yvonne Yu. After each step (sketching, lining, flats, rendering, and touch ups), the piece was handed off to the other, with work in progress photos shared throughout the process for advice and critique. The postcard takes inspiration from vintage Chinese graphics and Korean architecture, highlighting good luck, prosperity, and perseverance through culturally significant motifs such as red and gold theming, plum blossoms, and Chinese knots.
Postcard design with vintage paper texture, printed on recycled cardstock.

Raw Paw Design Challenge
As part of Raw Paw Ink’s annual design challenge, participating artists must create and then advertise their shirt over the 6 week preorder campaign. The 2025 theme was “World Wide Web,” so my design, titled “Digital Trinkets,” centers around the concept of mementos we discover and leave behind on the internet.
YUUOLOGY
As someone who has trouble parting with traditional work, even when made to be sold, taking photos alone didn't feel like enough. Inspired by trading card games and old internet spaces, I created an interactive art gallery displaying sculptures from of my YUUOLOGY collection.Hosted on Carrd, YUUOLOGY is also an exploration into how far I can push the website’s native elements to create engaging UI that feels almost like a game. The website can be accessed here!
